Allison graduated from the Clarian Helath Electroneurodiagnostic program in Ocotber of 2004. She later earned her ABRET EEG registry in 2004, ABRET EP registry in 2005, and ABRET CNIM registry in 2007. Allison has also been an ABRET EEG board examiner. In addition she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University at Bloomington.

Allison works for St. Vincent Hospitals, in Indianapolis. She and her husband, two sons and daughter live in Brownsburg.
